CORRAN MANOR - Thieves have stolen a Dewalt saw valued around £500 and a Riobi drill worth £200 from a parked van.

The owner discovered the theft which occurred overnight on Tuesday, March 2. Wwitnesses to the theft or anyone offered similar tools for sale from an unusual source or at an unrealistic price is asked to contact the police at Larne.

PORTLAND STREET - Police are investigating an incident in which vandals broke four windows of a house.

The damage occurred around 12.30am on Thursday, March 4. There were no reports of any injuries.

CHURCH WAY - Police are appealing for information after two petrol bombs were thrown at about 11.30pm on Friday, February 5.

One landed in the middle of the street and another on a footpath. No damage was caused.

Police are trying to establish a motive and are seeking assistance in identifying youths seen in the area at the time.
