Trust launches ‘safe place’ initiative
The purpose of the policy is to support Northern Trust staff who experience domestic abuse, and to advise staff and managers on how to respond to staff who are alleged or confirmed perpetrators of domestic violence.
Safe Place is an initiative offering information on the wide range of services available to all victims of domestic violence.

Speaking about the launch event on September 11, Tracy Magill, Head of Safeguarding and Family Support Service with the Northern Trust said: “The policy ensures that employees who are experiencing domestic abuse will be safe at work and have the support available inside the workplace, as well as being signposted to other agencies who can help”.
For anyone who is affected by domestic violence, please call the Domestic Violence Helpline Telephone 0800 917 1414.
