Hide AdAs police appealed for anyone with information on the use or sale of illegal drugs to contact them, there came a welcome for news of the haul and congratulations for the E District Tactical Crime Unit whose proactive search in the Cross Lane area on Thursday (November 29) uncovered it.
Dromore Councillor Paul Rankin, a member of Banbridge Policing and Community Safety Partnership, said drugs destroyed lives.
“I would commend the PSNI E-District Tactical Crime Unit on their successful operation,” he said.
“Although in recent years drugs has not been one of the most prominent issues locally in Dromore, this issue is one which is always below the surface and I would encourage anyone with any information on the use or supply of drugs, to contact the PSNI, or anonymously call the Crimestoppers number, 0800 555 111.
