Mid Ulster foursome to face contest in fuel laundering case
Appearing before East Tyrone Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday were Gareth Malachy Doris, 39, from Gortnaskea Place in Derrylaughan, John Thomas O’Neill, 46, from Sandy Row in Coalisland, and Jim Quinn, 45, and Kevin Quinn, 40, both of Ardean Close in Moortown.
Doris faces four counts of fraudulently evading customs duty charge on goods, namely hydrocarbon oils between November 28, 2013, and March 27, 2014.

Hide AdHe is further accused of having possession of fuel laundering equipment and a jumper for use in connection with fraud on November 28, 2013.
The other three defendants each face a single charge of fraudulently evading customs duty charge on goods, namely hydrocarbon oils on March 19, 2014.
Additionally, Jim Quinn is accused of possession of vehicles with tanks containing laundered fuel for use in the course of or in connection with a fraud.
Kevin Quinn is also charged with possession of vehicles with laundered fuel in the tanks for use in the course of or in connection with a fraud.
District Judge John Meehan fixed contest for February 13 next year before adjourning the case until January 11.
