Indepenent Ballyclare DEA representative, Cllr Michael Stewart said that items were dumped along the Glen Road, Ballymartin Road and on the slip road leaving Ballynure towards Belfast.

Speaking to the Times, Cllr Stewart said: “It is completely unacceptable that while so many brave people selflessly battle to help us beat the dreadful coronavirus Covid-19, others selfishly believe this type of behaviour is acceptable. It is not.

Now more than ever, we need to come together, respect and support each other and ensure we get through this crisis, an even stronger, kinder and better community.
