Cocaine worth £10,000 seized during search in Tyrone

It is part of a haul valued at more than £70,000 in Co Tyrone and Co Armagh.

Police say three men have been charged with drugs offences

Over £60,000 worth of the Class A drug was found when a car was stopped and searched on the Armagh Road, between Newry and Armagh, on Friday evening.

A further haul worth around £10,000 was recovered in a follow-up search in Coalisland.

Two men, aged 62 and 40, have been charged with a string of offences relating to the possession, supply and importation of Class A drugs.

A 28-year-old man has been charged with possession and possession with intent to supply.

All three are due to appear before Lisburn Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
