Ballymena Court hears of 'Covid emergency'

Several cases at Ballymena Magistrates Court had to be adjourned today (Thursday) after District Judge Nigel Broderick said there had been a "Covid emergency" involving the Probation Board.

A Probation Officer normally attends the court via a video link from their offices.

Judge Broderick said Probation had to "vacate" their building "for a deep clean".
