Convention marks 80th anniversary
Bangor Worldwide Missionary Convention recently held a special satellite service in Union Road Presbyterian Church in Magherafelt as part of their 80th annual summer programme.
Guest speakers included Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali President of the Oxford Centre for Training, Research, Advocacy and Dialogue (OXTRAD) and Will Niven who serves with ECM in Albania.
Founded in 1937 by Mr Herbert J Mateer, the Bangor Worldwide Missionary Convention has continued without a break as an annual event ever since.
