A Christmas craft fair will be held at Sunnylands Community Centre on Saturday November 24.

The fundraiser will take place from 10.00 am until 4.00 pm in aid of the British Heart Foundation and Chest Heart and Stroke charities.

The event is being organised by Franki Thursby.

Franki says that these charities have been supportive to her family following her 38-year-old husband’s shock diagnosis of DCM Syndrome and the early stages of heart failure in January.

“These charities have proved to be a big help for my husband trying to deal with his condition and we want to give something back to them for all their hard work and support they give to all families.

“The charities have helped so much by just listening and answering any questions we might have and sent us a pack to try and explain things better to ourselves and children.”

Franki indicated that visitors to the craft fair can expect a “fantastic variety” on offer.
