Brothers ‘brave the shave’ for fundraiser
Chris and Michael McGrath recently went head to head to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The McGrath brothers took part in a ‘Brave the Shave’ event, which they hosted at JP’s Bar and Terrace Lounge in Lurgan, and had their heads shaved to raise funds for the charity. They managed to raise a fantastic £500 for Macmillan Cancer Support, which they chose to support after losing their grandmother to lung cancer.
“It was a huge success,” shared Chris, “with a whopping £500 raised that night and more money coming in.”
The evening was the first ‘Brave the Shave’ event to be held in Lurgan, and it is hoped many more will get on board with this hairy new phenomenon.
