Boy’s twofront teethknocked out by gang

A boy’s two front teeth were knocked out after he was attacked by a gang in Galliagh on Friday night.

Constable Reynolds, the investigating officer, said: “Police received a report of a male having been assaulted in the area of Fergleen Park on Friday, October 16.

“This assault resulted in the loss of this male’s two front teeth. The youth, who is aged 16, was walking through Fergleen Park at about 10.30pm when he was attacked by a group of three males aged 15-17 wearing track bottoms and hooded tops.

“Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with any relevant information to contact them on 101, alternatively contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
