Black Santa sit-out boost for Carrick charities

Two Carrick charities have been given a boost from the 'Black Santa Christmas sit-out' at St. Anne's Cathedral, in Belfast.

Belfast Lough Sailability received £1,000.

The cheque was presented to Bill Foster, a representative from the charity by Radio Ulster presenter George Jones.

BLS offers onboard activities for people with disabilities from Carrick Marina and harbour.

Also benefiting was the Carrickfergus branch of RNLI to the tune of £1,527 which was presented to branch treasurer Tony Swan by former Olympic athlete Dame Mary Peters.
