Basic Polish Conversational Skills Class

"Mówie po polsku" or in English, "I speak Polish" is the title of Ballymoney Community Resource Centre's fun and informal Basic Polish Conversational Skills Class.

This is the second time the 12-week class has been organised by the Resource Centre and it kicked off on Monday 12th April with 11 attendees.

Lee Millen, Ethnic Minorities Support Worker at BCRC, explained: "The class has been set up as a tool for community development through community representatives and statutory agency staff attending. The idea behind the class is to help people who are interacting with the Polish community to be able to communicate with them at a basic level. This will hopefully aid them in their workplaces and communities.

"It is hoped that by having a basic level of Polish, those attending will promote a positive and welcoming approach to the Polish community in the area".

The class is free and has kindly been funded by Ballymoney Borough Council's Good Relations Programme. For further information about future events, please contact Lee Millen on 028 2766 5068 or [email protected]
