Barr welcomes traffic move
Councillor Glenn Barr has welcomed the decision by Roads Service to put in place measures to assess the traffic volume and speed on the Dromara Road in Moneyslane.
The road in front of Drumadonnell Primary School, he says will also be assessed.
Mr Barr, the Ulster Unionist Party candidate for the Banbridge DEA commented: “Whilst we are a long way away from consultation phase, the announcement by Roads Service that they are going to assess the traffic volume and speed has to be welcomed.”
Moneyslane resident Lisa McKee said: “My children attend Drumadonnell Primary School I fear that something may happen to a child due to the speed of some cars. There has been a few close calls.”
