The Ronnie Greer Blues Band heads to Town Hall

On Thursday 8 November award winning blues guitar legend Ronnie Greer (lifetime achievement, Woodstock Blues Festival 2011), will be appearing in Ballymoney Town Hall as part of Ballymoney Borough Arts Committee’s autumn programme.

Ronnie has been at the centre of the Irish blues scene for over forty years, having shared the stage during that time with some of the biggest names in music, including Dr John, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, and Memphis Slim.

Described by the Belfast Telegraph as “the guitarist’s guitarist”, and critically acclaimed by the Irish News as “world class”, Ronnie makes his debut in Ballymoney with his powerhouse band which includes brilliant singer/guitarist Anthony Toner and keyboard wizard John McCullough.
