SLIDESHOW: ACADEMY EVENT AIDS ASHA
Held in the school on September 23, the event was in aid of Asha, a charity founded in 1988 which works with around 500,000 people in nearly 60 slum colonies of Delhi and aims to transform lives by making healthcare more accessible, empowering people to make changes and improving access to education.
A team of 13 pupils and three teachers from Ballymena Academy will be heading out to work with the charity for 10 days at the end of October.
