JLS charity concerts

Pop superstars JLS are set to get both Belfast and Newry jumping this summer with two fantastic charity concerts for the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children.

Pop in the Park takes place at Pairc Esler, Newry, on Thursday, August 1, while Pop on the Dock takes place at Titanic Slipway, Belfast on Friday, August 2.

The concerts are part of the special events taking place during 2013 World Police and Fire Games (WPFG), of which NICFC is an official charity partner, and tickets are only £19.50.

Both dates will take place in great outdoor venues and also include performances by two other talented bands, Microlip from Portadown and Dublin-based Keywest.

JLS said: “As a band we have always been very vocal about our support for children and young people who find themselves in difficult circumstances which is why we are so excited to perform in Belfast as part of Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children’s charity concert

“What makes this concert even more special is the opportunity to perform during the 2013 World Police and Fire Games – we were blown away to find out it’s the third largest multi-sport event in the world!! We can’t wait to play to competitors from all over the world and of course, our amazing Northern Ireland fans, at such an iconic location in what will be one of our last years together as a band.”

The concerts are two of the last times the boys will perform together before they officially split next year, so see them while you still can!
