Horticulture show ‘another success’ says MP

Banbridge and District Horticultural Society hosted the Annual Flower and Vegetable Show in Banbridge.

There are many categories including a full range of vegetables, fruits, flowers, flower arranging, cookery and photography.

Speaking after the event Mr Simpson said, “After 51 years the show continues to be a huge success and this is testament to the hard work and commitment from Banbridge and District Horticultural Society.

“I was amazed at the number of categories and the quality of the entries; you could clearly see the passion and enthusiasm of each participant.

“It was great to see the photography category which is new this year and entries from children who attend Donard School.

“I must commend the work of the committee and members for all their efforts in making the 51st Flower and Vegetable Show another great success.”
