A big round of ‘ap-paws’ for Khiya’s doggy business

A young Cloughmills entrepreneur hasn’t let lockdown put a ‘paws’ on her new business venture.

Eight-year-old Khyia Douds has started her own little business, called Khyia’s Kreations.

She has been baking her own dog treats and sending them to lucky dogs in the post in her “paw-fect post parcels.” Within a week of launching her business, Khiya had over 1,000 followers on instagram, and in less than a week, had packaged up 50 orders.

The savvy young business woman has a shop online with etsy and is now getting orders from all over the country. Her dream when she is older is to open a doggy hotel for dogs who don’t have homes. She says it would include a spa, training school too.
