Three top acts in town

THE Railway Bar will play host to three of the hottest acts on the Public Sector Records roster next Friday (June 8), including local musicians Malojian and Ciaran Lavery.

They’ll be joined by Pat Dam Smyth for the gig which starts at 9pm and cost £5 admission.

Stevie Scullion is the man behind Malojian. He’s given folk songs an indie pop to great effect and is set to unleash his debut album later this year.

Ciaran Lavery, the lead singer of Captain Kennedy, has been garnering critical aclaim since going solo last year. He returns to Lurgan after a UK tour with Aaron Shanley.

Pat Dam Smyth is a singer-songwriter who mixes a busking background with a thirst for vast soundscapes. This Friday will be his first show in Lurgan.

All three artists will be backed by full bands and it’s looking like a night not to be missed.
