‘Silent as the Grave’ special screening

Step back in time to the golden age of silent films with the Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre, Limavady. They present ‘Silent As The Grave’, a special film evening of silent shorts on Friday 16 November, 7.30pm.

Sure to appeal to everyone who enjoys watching a great film or hearing a good spine-tingling story, as well as those interested in drama and true cinephiles, Silent As The Grave features the screening of various classic short horror films, accompanied by live sound effects in the Centre’s auditorium.

The superb Cinemaschine will create the sound effects live ‘on stage’, including using the Centre’s prized baby grand. The short films include Cinemaschine’s own haunting film The Lighthouse Keeper (2012), as well as classics of the genre such as Frankenstein (1923), La Voyage Dans La Lune (1902), The Haunted Mansion (1903) and more!
