New Time;Bar;Venue boosts Cookstown

COOKSTOWN has welcomed an exciting new addition to its entertainment scene with the opening of TIME.Bar.Venue on James Street creating 34 jobs for the local economy.

A specialist team with proven expertise in the hospitality sector was commissioned to re-brand and re-launch the venue, including local firms Manor Architects, interior designer Aidan McGuigan, and Oakleaf Contracts as well as other local specialists in refurbishment, audio, vision and lighting.

Time.Bar.Venue opened its doors to reveal a contemporary stylish bar on the ground floor, an outdoor smoking area, and a nightclub to open in June on the upper levels.

TIME Bar will open seven days per week serving lunch and dinner created by consultant chef Sean Owens. The bar exudes that relaxed atmosphere, and the dining area will have a welcoming vibe whether it’s for a sociable drink, a light bite at the bar or sit down dining with friends.

The menu features light bites including prawn cocktail, garlic mushroom toast, and Greek salad with mains of real chinese chicken curry, classic fish ‘n’ chips, carbonara, goats cheese and leek flan. Sundays at TIME.Bar.Venue will offer a three-course lunch menu priced at ££10 per person.

The interior design will consist of minimalist chrome and brass, wooden paneling and a vast array of LED lighting to offer a relaxing setting in the town. The bar will also feature 16 HD TVs for viewing all the live sporting events.

During the summer it is anticipated a high-profile celebrity DJ will launch the “Over 20s” club which will open on Friday and Saturday nights. Trained bar-tenders will be mixing classic and contemporary cocktails alongside serving premium beer and spirit brands while a seriously cool line-up of DJs will take to the decks throughout the summer months playing 70s, 80s and 90s on Fridays while on Saturdays the music will be a mix of chart and house music entertaining revelers of all ages. www.timebarandvenue.com.
