Keltic Storm to lead Bannville dancing spectacular

Keltic Storm comprises some of Ulster’s best musicians many of whom have previously played with top-line bands and as such they are particularly well geared to catering for the needs of dancers.

Joe Moore, Boxcar Brian, Cowboy Larry and Tracey McAuley are among the artistes who will also be appearing.

Joe Moore is currently riding the crest of a wave with a new CD out and he is in huge demand throughout the country while Boxcar Brian is a firm favourite with County Down dancers having performed at venues in the area for several years now.

He has a strong following in the Banbridge district and his upbeat songs are calculated to set all the jivers in motion.

Cowboy Larry has been making quite a name for himself of late and only recently appeared at a number of prestigious concerts at which some of Ireland’s very best country stars were in action.

And there will be a special welcome on the mat at the Bannville for Tracey McAuley.

Formerly Tracey Mallon, she hails from the Banbridge area and prior to going to live in Ballymena she enjoyed tremendous popularity in the Bann district where she appeared on many concert shows.

She has certainly lost none of her professionalism and allure and is certain to prove a big hit on this welcome return to the Bannville.

The three and a half hour dancing show is expected to prove a winner and the versatility, enthusiasm and quality of the various artistes should combine to make it a memorable occasion.

The Bannville Hotel is now regarded as the hub of country dancing in mid-Ulster and Friday night’s show should see this reputation considerably enhanced.
