Firm offers citygroups colour

A MAJOR paint retailer is inviting groups and charities in Londonderry to apply for a paint donation to help them improve their local environments and create brighter futures.

Dulux has launched its exciting and community improving Let’s Colour Project, which offers a helping hand to groups looking to have their local grey spaces transformed with colourful paint.

The project is open to anyone who has the drive and determination to make a difference in their community. The Let’s Colour Project is on a mission to ‘add colour’ to the lives of people across the UK and successful applicants will receive a donation of paint to help them improve their local environments and create brighter futures.

Speaking of the scheme, Letty Edwards, UK marketing director at Dulux, said: “The Let’s Colour Project stands for colour, transformation and impacting on people’s lives. This scheme is not just about donating paint; it is also about bringing together communities and working collectively for a good cause.

“By donating paint to projects in need of help, it is our hope that people will embark on their own colourful journeys, pulling together to recruit and organise volunteers in order to complete the work, improve local environments and leave behind a positive long-term legacy.

“Nominated projects will be judged against criteria and also on the positive impact that they have to the local community. Any that are unsuccessful will be referred to the Community Repaint Scheme, which is proudly sponsored by Dulux.”
