GNI, is a gay-friendly lifetyle magazine which is distributed free in cafes, hotels, fashion outlets, bars and salons and is also available to read online at www.gnimag.com

Conleth, who is now living in London, told the ‘MAIL’ that his first column in GNI was his first stab at writing since school. He said: “I haven’t really had to compose any form of ‘writing’ since my school days. However, this was another challenge I was glad to take on, especially as the magazine is so extremely up and coming on the Northern Irish fashion, arts and social scene. It is great publication, and rather ‘cool’, if I do say so myself!”

Conleth added: “The team are lovely, very welcoming, and have been really complimentary about my first column. The response has been overwhelming on my Twitter and public Facebook page. It’s a new venture for me.

“Gok Wan tweeted about my column this week which was pretty cool!”

Conleth gave us his top tips in the world of music, film and theatre. He said: “Disney Movie ‘Frozen’ is one of the best animations I have ever seen. As for music, I love Britney Spears’ latest album. As for theatre, I’m rather spoiled, as I live 30 minutess from London’s West End.”

Meanwhile Conleth will reprise the role of ‘Jake’ in ‘Molly Wobbly’ at the Phoenix Artistes Club in London next month.
