Levity Breaks make music with pop appeal but on closer inspection there’s an unmistakable funereal quality that stirs the listener profoundly. It’s this collision of light and shade that make the music so intoxicating and far reaching with songs with universal appeal.

Between them, as individuals, they have previously toured with artists such as Snow Patrol, The Buzzcocks, British Sea Power, Iain Archer, The La’s, Bell X1, The Frames, Nine Black Alps, The Ordinary Boys and have featured at prestigious festivals such as Oxegen, T-Vital and The Electric Picnic.

In support of their debut EP release ‘Maudlin’, Levity Breaks embark on their first Irish tour towards the end of the year. Later this year they will release a single with accompanying music video and kick-start 2014 with a second EP.

Admission for the Limelight 2 gig is £5 at the door.
