As well as reading from her new book ‘The Faerie Thorn & Other Stories’, she’ll be talking about the inspiration for her collection of dark faerie tales for grown-ups, answering questions and signing books.

Every story in the book is set in the local area: Dunseverick, Bushmills, Ballyness, Breen Wood, Murlough Bay, Banagher Glen and the coastal strip between Ballycastle and Portballintrae all get a mention.

Come along and get in the mood for Halloween!

Here’s a taster...

‘Man Donaghy crept silently around the back of the farmhouse and over the field to the faerie thorn. The thorn was shimmering as he knelt before it. Whispering directly to the roots of the tree, Man Donaghy said, “I want you to take Wife Donaghy.”’

‘The Faerie Thorn and Other Stories’ is a dark, tender, dazzling collection that will make you remember why you love stories.
