Carnfunnock play park and activity centre to reopen

A post on the park's Facebook page added: "Parklands Cafe Carnfunnock Snack Stop will also be open for takeaway tea, coffee and snacks.

"Please follow our one way system through the activity centre; we have plenty of signage in place to help. Staff will also be on duty to help."

Visitors are urged to use the hand sanitiser station or hand washing facilities on entering and exiting the play park.

Meanwhile, the putting green and the golf course will be open and purchases of putting and green fees for golf can be paid at the activity centre kiosk.

"We will also have table tennis bats available to purchase a game of outdoor table tennis. All equipment will be sanitised before being handed to you and re-done when the equipment is returned," the post added.

"Toilets at the activity centre will be open with hand washing facilities available. Please do not wait inside any toilet area when it is already in use.

"We would like to remind all our visitors to keep to the recommended social distancing advice."
