Belfast High’s dreams of winning the 2016 Danske Bank Schools’ Trophy were dashed when they lost out to Banbridge Academy in Wednesday’s final.

The County Down outfit enjoyed a comfortable 15-0 success at Roughfort thanks to two well-worked tries, finished off by Troy Pinion and captain Michael McGaffin. One try was converted by Ben Thompson, who also added a penalty.
