Carrick boss Gary Haveron is set to bring in three new faces as he bids to keep the Taylor’s Avenue outfit in the Danske Bank Premiership.
Glenavon defender Gareth McKeown has agreed to join Rangers, as has Knockbreda midfielder James Wright.
Striker Adam Salley should bolster Carrick’s attacking options as he arrives on loan from Linfield. The Banbridge native scored for Linfield Swifts in their 1-1 draw with Crusaders reserves at Seaview on Wednesday night.
As Rangers’ vice-chairman Adam Simpson tweeted last night, the move for the trio is expected to be rubberstamped today. “As reported by @Times_Sport, hopefully have the paperwork completed in the next 24 hours for three new additions to the club,” he wrote.
Carrick travel to Banbridge Town in the fifth round of the Irish Cup on Saturday.
