A pitch inspection is expected take place at Taylor’s Avenue this afternoon ahead of Carrick’s Danske Bank Premiership clash with Dungannon this evening.

Heavy rain in the East Antrim area over the past two hours prompted the call for an official to cast an eye over the surface at 3pm.

The match has been billed as a ‘must-win’ by Rangers midfielder Barry Johnston with the men in Amber still searching for their first league win since September 12 and a first home league victory of the campaign.

Rodney McAree’s Swifts have lost their last seven - and trail Rangers by three points in the table.
