East Antrim DUP members today attended the annual Carrickfergus Road Safety Committee’s Annual Road Safety Schools quiz in Carrickfergus Town Hall.

Cllr Cheryl Johnston, committee secretary, said “We had a great day with the road safety quiz members for our Annual Road Safety Schools quiz. Thanks to the nine schools from Carrickfergus who attended and a huge well done to you all.

“It’s great to see our young people taking such an interest in road safety and enjoying a bit of healthy competition too.

“Congratulations to Woodburn Primary School for taking home the highly sought after trophy, very closely followed by Woodlawn Primary School and Model Primary School, in joint second place and Whitehead Primary School, in third.

“Thanks to PSNI Carrickfergus, Mid and East Antrim Policing and Community Safety Partnership and Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for their help in making the day a success.”
