Road reopens after Carrick collision

Motorists are advised that an earlier collision in the Woodburn Road area of Carrickfergus has been cleared.

The road was closed for a period this morning (Monday) following the one-vehicle collision with Cllr Marc Collins advising motorists of possible delays.

Providing an update in a statement issued to the Times, a PSNI spokesperson said: “Police attended the scene of a single-vehicle road traffic collision in the Woodburn Road area of Carrickfergus shortly before 9am today (November 22).

“No one was seriously injured during the incident and the road has since reopened.”
