The Northern Trust has released dates for a new series of stress management classes in Carrickfergus.
Over 240 people of all ages have attended, reporting they have learned a range of beneficial new skills to help them manage their stress.
‘Stress Control’ is a six week, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based self-help course consisting of six 90 minute presentations. Although aimed at people experiencing mild to moderate anxiety or depression, anyone who is suffering with stress, knows someone who is, or just wants to be better equipped, is welcome to attend.
Classes are free of charge and flexible; they begin in Oakfield Community Centre on Wednesday evenings at 7pm - 8.30pm from February 4 – March 11.
