Budding entrepreneurs in Carrickfergus have been learning more about the world of business from Invest NI representatives.

Year 13 pupils at Ulidia Integrated College, who are involved in a new venture with Achievers International, welcomed Frankie McCourt and Noel Johnston from the economic development agency to their committee meeting.

The pupils have established Ulidia Trading Company and will soon be trading products with their partner school, British International School Al Khobar, in Saudi Arabia.

Thanking the visitors for their time, a statement from the school added: “Mr McCourt spoke to them about the importance of creating a business plan and a service level agreement while Mr Johnston gave them valuable insight into the customs, culture and people of Saudi Arabia.”
