A public meeting will take place in Carrick later this month to discuss growing concerns over anti-social behaviour by young people in the town.
Sunnylands and Woodburn Community Development Group is inviting local residents to attend.
The meeting will take place on Thursday March 23 in Sunnylands Primary School, starting at 7.00 pm.
The group says that it is concerned over a rise in anti-social behaviour by young people in the area.
In particular, the group has highlighted concerns over drug and alcohol misuse.
A spokesperson said: “We would urge as many parents as possible to attend the meeting to discuss what action we as a local community can take to educate our young people about this risk-taking behaviour and also the longterm implications.”
