Part of an ongoing programme of events to mark the centenary of Northern Ireland, the event will take place on Saturday (August 7) at Shaftesbury Park from 12-4pm.

Chair of Council’s NI 100 Working Group, Councillor Cheryl Brownlee, said: “There will be lots of activities, including a magic show, Punch and Judy, face painting, colouring in, crazy golf, and the chance to chat to some superheroes, such as Captain America and Elsa and Anna from Frozen.

“We are encouraging families to bring along a favourite teddy bear – there will be prizes for the best dressed Teddy Bear, with winners announced at 1pm - a picnic to enjoy while the activities are ongoing, and a fold-up chair for comfort.
