Funding for Carrick Connect mentoring programme

Carrick Connect have been awarded funding of £10,000 for their mentoring service.

The local not-for-profit organisation is aimed at interacting with young people from the ages of 11 to 25 years.

The funding was warded by the National Lottery Community Fund Northern Ireland.

"We offer many programmes and our mentoring service is expanding rapidly," a statement from the group read.

"It is a known fact that a problem shared is a problem halved. All mentoring services are confidential.
