The event will be hosted by the Cithrah Foundation on Monday (November 25), the International Day of Elimination of Violence Against Women.

Little Stones follows Brazilian graffiti artist Panmela Castro, Senegalese rap-singer Sister Fa, Indian dance therapist Sohini Chakraborty, and fashion designer Anna Taylor as they use their art to combat violence against women and to empower women and girls globally.

The film will be shown at 10am and 2pm in the Dobbs Room. Following each screening, the Community Arts Partnership will be facilitating drop in sessions in the Jubilee Hall to create an art piece, reinforcing the message of eliminating violence against women.

This event is funded by the Policing and Community Safety Partnership.

Viewers are advised that the film deals with different forms of gender-based violence. The content may be triggering to survivors and generally upsetting to others. If anyone should find they need to leave the room, they should feel free to do so. Cithrah Foundation will have certified counsellors available in the lobby.
