A pre-planning application notice was submitted to Mid and East Antrim Borough Council on February 6 by Windsor Developments.

Earmarked for lands north-west of Brackenridge, Brackenridge Green and Brackenridge Close, the development would comprise 214 dwellings in a mix of 34 detached and 180 semi-detached homes, with associated car parking and landscaping.

The notice is an amended proposal to previously approved plans for 154 detached semi-detached and town house dwellings in the area.

The estimated cost of the project will be £19million, according to Construction Information Services (CIS Ireland).

A community consultation on the proposals will take place at the Loughshore Hotel, Carrickfergus on March 18, 2020 from 3pm to 7pm.
