Carrickfergus Garden Society is marking the opening of its new season with a new venue.
The long-running local group has moved from its former base at St Colman’s Church Hall to the Belfast Loughshore Hotel.
Members new and old are invited to the inaugural meeting of the new season which will take place on Monday, October 9.
Guest speaker will be Neil Porteous, head of gardens at Mount Stewart.
Neil will give a presentation on African plants for Ireland.
The meeting will take place in the Carrick room, located on the ground floor of the hotel.
Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8.00pm start.
