Friends of the 36th Ulster Division Carrickfergus have donated a bench to Carrickfergus District No.19 in tribute to brethren who were among the fallen of World War One.
It was dedicated at King William 111 Orange Hall by Pastor Drew Hamill, of Victoria Evangelical Hall.
Meanwhile, Friends of the 36th have been to Ypres and the surrounding cemeteries, memorials and war museums.
Their visit included the grave of Sergeant Thomas George Wortley, who was killed at the Battle of Messines in 1917. There is also a memorial to the soldier at St Nicholas’s Church of Ireland, Carrick.
