An alternative collection will take place on Saturday, April 3.

Collections will take place as normal on Good Friday (April 2) and Easter Tuesday (April 6).

Encouraging householders to recycle as much as possible over the holiday period, Bryson is asking them to place the cardboard boxes and foil from Easter eggs into their recycling boxes.

Bryson Recycling offers a weekly service to over 180,000 homes in Northern Ireland, including the council areas of Mid and East Antrim and Antrim and Newtownabbey.

Meanwhile, Mid and East Antrim Council’s household recycling centres (HRC) will be closed on Easter Monday, They will reopen at 9am on Easter Tuesday.

Glenarm HRC will reopen on Wednesday, April 7, as normal.
