Election count started at Carrickfergus Leisure Centre
Counting is underway following yesterday's by-election in the Carrick Castle ward.
The total votes polled was 2,873 with a turnout of 21.8 per cent.
The count is taking place at Carrickfergus Leisure Centre.
A seat was left vacant on Mid and East Antrim Borough Council following the death of Independent councillor Jim Brown in August.
