A language programme for children which runs classes in Carrick has been announced as a finalist in the What’s On 4 Kids Awards 2017.
La Jolie Ronde French for Children has been nominated for Best National Licensed Activity for Children aged 5 to 12 - a category it has won for the last three years.
The awards were launched in 2007 to celebrate the UK’s best activities, class leaders, party providers, places and activity-based products for children.
From April 28 to July 3, 2017, parents and carers were able to log on and vote for their favourite clubs, groups and classes.
Teacher Lisa Ogor, who runs ‘Les Petits Amis Club’ and teaches La Jolie Ronde’s French programme in Carrickfergus, said: “It’s an absolute honour to be involved in these national awards and we are absolutely delighted to have been nominated for the fourth year running.
“What makes it even more special is knowing that it’s the parents and children who have voted for us.”
The winners are due to be announced at a live awards ceremony in London on October 4.
