Police alert parents over packaging after Carrickfergus drugs search
Police seized a number of packages during a drugs search in Carrickfergus on Wednesday.
Officers from neighbourhood policing and local policing teams were involved in what the PSNI said was a “successful” operation.
In an appeal to parents, Police Mid and East Antrim added: “The investigation is ongoing so information has to be limited.
“Much of the packaging is in the style that would appeal to the young people in our community. On first glance it seems innocent and could be easily missed. Please keep this in mind and if you have any information on this or any crime call us on 101.
“If you would rather not contact us but still feel you need to let someone know completely anonymously. You can call Crime stoppers on 0800 555 111.”
