Defibrillator for Eden community is aim of village shop’s 100 mile virtual cycle

Organiser Brian McConnell and the team at Vivo Essentials in Eden are having a sponsored instore cycle on Saturday (September 25) 9.00am to 3.00pm.

Events have been going on throughout September and Brian is encouraging the community to get behind the 100 mile virtual cycle too.

He said. “We at Vivo Essentials Eden are hoping to purchase an automatic external defibrillator (AED) for the Eden area community to be located outside the shop entrance. As a local shop we feel this could be a vital piece of equipment to have in our village not only for our customers but for local residents.

“Please help us with our cause by donating any amount, no amount is too small. It could help save a life. All money raised will go towards initial purchase and installation of the unit and then anything past our goal will help us continue to pay for annual maintenance and upkeep of the system.”
