Cottage Kitchen is recalling its Traybake Selection which is distributed to 48 stores in Northern Ireland.
The Food Standards Agency is alerting the public to the product being recalled because itcontains walnuts, which are not mentioned in the ingredients section of the label.
This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to nuts.
Product name: Cottage Kitchen Traybake Selection.
‘Best before’ end: all dates up to and including 21 September 2015.
The product contains walnuts making it a possible health risk for anyone with a nut allergy.
Food Standards Agency advice to consumers
If you have bought the above product and are allergic to nuts, do not eat it. Instead, return the product to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
The company has issued point-of sale notices to all relevant outlets.
The company has told the relevant allergy awareness charities about the recall, to enable them to make their members aware.
No other Cottage Kitchen products are known to be affected.
