Kragfergus Living History Group is to provide a Children’s Christmas Workshop in Carrickfergus town centre.

Offering various craft making activities, the workshop will be open in Market Place on Saturday, December 9 and 16.

Kevin Wilson, Kragfergus Living History Group’s vice chairman, said: “We have teamed up with the Carrickfergus Town Centre Partnership (CTCP) to use the space behind the ‘Win the Christmas Window’ which is being hosted in the old Ollie’s Coffee Shop in Market Place.

“Children can enjoy storytelling, Dickensian characters and the chance to write their letter to Santa and hand it to him in person.

“Photos will not be taken so parents or guardians are encouraged to bring their own cameras or phones.

“A charge of £3.50 per child will apply with group concessions being available and proceeds will be in aid of the Kragfergus Living History Group and the Age NI charity.”
