A Carrick Cadet has met former Countdown star Carol Vorderman during an international air show.

Cadet Corporal Luke Crymble of 2062 (Carrickfergus) Squadron Air Training Corps was selected to represent Northern Ireland Wing at the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford.

During the event, the local lad rubbed shoulders with Air Cadet Ambassador, Honorary Group Captain Carol Vorderman, and the Air Cadet Commandant, Air Commodore Dawn Cafferty.

Luke was one of many volunteers who helped to set up display stands and assist with crowd management throughout the show.
